We Are Re-Branding the Site …
Latest updates …I’ve changed your credit link. I know it doesn’t do much good yet, but better do it now than to forget about it.
I know, I most likely will be the only one ever to notice, but for some strange reason there is 1 pixel of grey left of the ribbon.
The slider is brilliant! (I have a little wish here, but it’ll have to wait until later. It’s not that important.)
1) Something has gone wrong with the formatting of the posts. There is no longer any kind of paragraphs! I can’t figure out where this error is, but it is global! It has to do with Thesis, ’cause I have the same problem here: http://www.forex4everyone.com/
2) All font and link styles should be the same as on the old theme. (Not the links in the widgets though. I’ve done them already!)
3) There should not be any text-decoration in any headlines. The slider and the featured post still has text-decoration.
4) I would prefer you to use the old script for page pagination, as this is looking better. Also the font, size and colors are better at the old one.
5) When clicking the page pagination, the function is not correct. The post order on the homepage should be:
and the featured post only visible on the first page. Have a look at how it looks on the old site. Reason: If the featured post keeps at top when “turning the page”, most people will not discover any change (yes – people really is that stupid!). So; featured post at the very first page only!
6) Clicking on the pagination bar should show the next 5 posts descending from post 6 – and so on. Have a look at the old theme to see how it works.
7) I want the search bar replace with a Google bar (http://www.buildinganonline.com/search-results)
The result from searching from the sidebar, should be shown at the search results page (just like they are if using the search in top of the page). 300px width and no headline or border – just the searchbar.
8) This will be a problem not often seen, but it might happen every now and then. If you look at the archive page, it is a very short “article” (there is only the headline (: ). As a result the credit widget is misplaced. Is it possible to make the credit widget, so that the margin is always no less than [$single] between the content in the sidebar and widget?
9) The border around the smiley’s are back?
[ I never use, and will never use, the “Redirect ugly URL’s..” feature, so if it’s possible to alter something to make WP-SEO work, it’s fine with me.
But for obvious reasons it would be great if you would write down exactly what’s the problem, and I’ll forward your discoveries to both Yoast as well as the Thesis forum (if you can’t yourself), to avoid having problems with every new version. ]
When the above is done, I guess the homepage is ready. On to the sub-pages
