About
My name is Michael Johansen, and aside from being an experienced Internet marketer, I am also interested in the violent impact we as humans are exposing to our world.
I do not see myself as any kind of climate fanatic. I have, for example, my doubts that the so-called CO2 pollution is really causing any climate change.
But whatever my stance is when it comes to CO2 and climate change, I see so many other very good reasons to think of environmentally friendly alternatives to our current forms of energy.
That reason alone, that our resources of coal, oil- and gas are scarily close to come to an end, should be keeping us more than busy and eagerly try to come up with something new.
Burning of these resources also involve a dangerous contamination with harmful substances and particles, which only contributes to my understanding of the urgency and necessity of developing other alternative energy sources.
The steadily increasing energy prices we currently experience, is nothing to compare with what we will experience as the oil wells and coal mines dwindles. And the latest expert reports shows that the sources dry out much faster than previous calculations have predicted.
If we do not very soon, immediately, begin to develop, establish, and put into service some effective alternative energy sources, I predict riots and wars flare up, in a scale the world has never witnessed before. In a battle for the last pieces of coal and the last drops of oil.
I could come up with several other compelling reasons to explore and use green renewable energy without the necessity of taking clear positions on issues such as CO2 and climate change.
Pollution, climate change and green energy are issues that naturally have much in common, but that doesn’t mean they can not be treated separately.
With this blog I want to contribute to an increased focus on the utilization of renewable energy.
